Today the 4th graders worked on review sheets of the Alef-Bet Quest book and
played a game. We also did a
fun lesson using modern Hebrew from the quest companion booklet. The 5th grade class talked about whether or not we think God knows the truth. First, we broke into small groups to read the stories of Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, The First King, and Hagar and Ishmael. Then, the students broke into different groups and shared their thoughts from their first group with their new team. The 6th graders reinforced our knowledge of the Israeli government by
making posters about the president, the prime minister and the supreme court.
Each group had a chance to present their project. The 7th graders looked at the symbol of the tzedakah box and were challenged to design a 21st century tzedakah box that would encourage others to donate money.
