Wednesday, February 23 Highlights!

Our 4th, 5th and 6th graders had a great time at Tefilah today and had an opportunity to share their knowledge of the prayers with each other. Fourth graders played a reading game with the V'ahavta prayer in class, and they began learning the Hatikvah as well. In Judaic Studies, the fourth graders continued working on their Dream Notebooks. They also divided in groups that they chose themselves in order to plan the decorating of the bulletin boards (designers, artists and writers). In fifth grade we learned a new song by Dan Nichols called "Sweet as Honey" that we will be singing at this week's Jr. Congregation service on Friday night (February 25)! We'd love to see everyone there! In sixth grade, we played a Jewpardy game with our information about the New Jerusalem, and our Hebrew class practiced the Aleinu and the Shabbat evening Kiddush. We also learned about our new BLOG....and how we can practice our prayers and reading skills by using it. Everyone loves the idea, and we love sharing our news with you!
